Topcon and GreenValley join forces to advance Lidar and spatial intelligence

Kauri protection platform receives geospatial award

Kete Aronui, a New Zealand geospatial platform built to protect the country’s iconic Kauri trees from the deadly soil pathogen Phytophthora agathidicida, has received a Special Achievement in GIS Award at the Esri User Conference in San Diego. Developed by Land Information New Zealand in partnership with the Tiakina Kauri Management Agency and mana whenua, the platform supports national-scale surveillance, risk mapping, and soil sampling, putting data-driven decision-making at the center of efforts to save one of the world’s largest conifers.
