Workflows, AI and an evolution of technology - An Interview with Boris Skopljak from Trimble

What's now and what's next for Trimble?

The latest Trimble GNSS receiver from Trimble was on display at Intergeo 2023. As previously detailed, the R580 is an integrated GNSS system, which combines a GNSS receiver and antenna, is meant for geospatial applications for a variety of user groups, including professionals in surveying, mapping, GIS, civil construction and utilities. The receiver has a maximum precision of 10mm (H) and 20mm (V) and Centerpoint RTX precision of 2cm (H) and 5cm (V).

That was just one of the developments that the company brought to the event though. To get a better sense of what else Trimble had to showcase at Intergeo, we caught up with  Boris Skopljak, Vice President, Surveying & Mapping Strategy and Product Marketing at Trimble. He detailed the major focus of the company at the booth, what he's looking forward to seeing come together for the industry and much more.
