Kassel, Germany, 4 August 2026. Twinsity, the structural inspection platform, today released the largest update to its software since the company was founded, alongside a refreshed brand. The release sharpens the platform around what inspection work actually needs: not just a way to view a project, but a faster way to turn captured data into observations and reports that teams and clients can act on.
Plenty of tools can visualise a drone survey or a 3D model. Twinsity’s focus is the harder part that follows. It takes the data an inspection team captures and turns it into structured, defensible observations and reports, in one place. The company sums up its aim in a phrase it uses with customers: inspect faster, find problems earlier, prove nothing was missed.
The new release rebuilds the interface around the way inspection teams work, so moving from a model to a finished report takes fewer clicks and fewer steps. The tools people use most sit where they expect them, and the path from an open inspection to a shareable report is shorter.
Every inspection team already has its own set of questions it asks about what it finds, whether set by a client standard or internal quality assurance. With the new Observation Profile Builder, teams replicate that structure inside the platform: the observation classes they record and the fields they record against. Their existing standards transfer rather than being reshaped to fit the software. Alongside this, Twinsity’s AI gives teams a head start by surfacing potential observations for an inspector to review and confirm. The AI does the detecting, the inspector does the deciding, and every image is reviewed.
The update serves the three groups that rely on the platform. Drone service providers deliver a more professional, credible result faster. Engineering and consulting firms spend less time turning models into reports. Asset owners and managers keep a single, trusted record of an asset over its life. For existing customers the update arrives automatically, with their data, workflows and integrations unchanged. “Anyone can visualise a project.
