October 17, 2025 – To close out its 2025 Year in Infrastructure event in Amsterdam, Bentley Systems presented the winners of its 2025 Going Digital Awards. According to a statement from Bentley, the awards “honor the extraordinary work of infrastructure professionals and their innovative use of Bentley software to improve the way infrastructure is designed, built, and operated.”
To select the winners, a team of judges considered nominations representing infrastructure projects across 12 categories, including “Bridges and Tunnels,” “Energy Production,” and “Geospatial and Reality Modeling.” In all, some 250 projects were nominated by organizations in 47 countries.
Commenting on this year’s awards, Chris Bradshaw, chief sustainability and education officer at Bentley Systems. “These groundbreaking projects demonstrate how leading infrastructure engineering and construction companies, together with innovative owner-operators, are harnessing digital advancements—from connected data to AI—to transform project delivery and elevate asset performance.”
During the awards ceremony, Bentley also recognized 18 projects with “Founders’ Honors,” which “reflect the company’s mission of advancing the world’s infrastructure for better quality of life.” In addition, the company presented its “Bentley-Envision Award for Sustainable Infrastructure” to GeoStruXer (Saudi Arabia) and its “Educator of the Year Award” to Irfaan Peerun, Griffith University, Australia.
