Boston Dynamics is a Google-owned company that builds horrifying advanced robots. They’ve built one that uses a Velodyne LiDAR to run on its own and jump over obstacles, and even continue standing up once you give it a good kick. If the whole thing weren’t already weird enough for you, now they’re sending out a video of these robots pulling a Christmas sleigh.
I’m not sure what’s scarier–a robotic Rudolph, or a snowless Boston in late December.
