Boise, Idaho – October 13, 2026: Cintoo today officially launched Cintoo Workspace at R-CON 2026, letting project teams meet and make decisions together inside high-fidelity digital twins streamed directly from 3D scan data. Teams can join a real-time session from a desktop, a VR headset or an immersive room, with built-in guided collaboration giving virtual reviews the structure of a real site walk.
Organizations are capturing more reality data than ever, but the teams who need to review it are rarely in the same place. Today’s options to support reviews include unstructured meetings in shared 3D spaces where people risk losing track of each other, and video calls where everyone passively watches one person’s low-resolution, screen-shared walkthrough. Decision-making then takes place via subsequent emails, meetings, and costly site visits.
Most collaboration tools are built around design models. Cintoo Workspace – an Unreal Engine application cloud-connected to the Cintoo platform – works on scan data captured by terrestrial and mobile scanners, 360 cameras and drones, alongside BIM or CAD models, enabling teams to review the site as it really is and compare it to how it was designed.
Workspace’s guided collaboration mirrors how teams work on site. One person guides the review, participants opt in to be guided by the leader while staying free to explore, and the leader can gather everyone at one specific location when something needs attention. Role indicators, avatars and a radar keep everyone oriented, while shared annotations, measurements and issue features mean decisions are made inside the digital twin.
“Simply being in the same 3D space isn’t the same as working together,” said Dace Campbell, Cintoo’s Product & Business Manager, XR & Metaverse. “Teams need the structure of a real site walk, where someone leads, people can break off to check details, and everyone regroups to discuss. Doing that in real scan data, using their preferred device, is what makes remote reviews work and ultimately enables quicker, more confident decisions.”
Cintoo Workspace is available now by visiting cintoo.com/en/workspace. The team is demonstrating Cintoo Workspace at Booth #8 at R-CON, Boise Centre, 12-15 October. To schedule a demo or organize an interview with Dace Campbell, please contact Jules Fisher at [email protected] or +44 2380 225478.
