Cambridge, UK — AVEVA announced this week that it has acquired Irish company 8over8 Limited. The company produces ProCon, a risk-management software platform that makes relevant information available to owner operators and engineering procurement construction companies through the life of a construction project.
AVEVA’s move to acquire ProCon, which can be deployed on site or through a privately managed cloud, is another recent example of software players in the AEC world moving toward increased information mobility on projects.
