UTEC Underlines Commitment & Reports Growth in EMEA

UTEC – one of the world’s largest independent survey companies – has underlined its commitment to the EMEA region with a raft of staff changes and expansion into new geographical territories.

In addition, the company’s strong and sustained growth has seen it capitalize on significant and exciting opportunities in current locations, augment its core construction support service line and expand AUV and IMDC services. 

UTEC has further strengthened its position by promoting Kevin McBarron to the new position of Director of Business Development for the EMEA region. In this role Kevin will lead the expansion of service lines into new areas across the region and continue to build on the Houston-based company’s service portfolio through organic growth, partnerships and acquisitions.

New to UTEC is Crawford Tennant who joins in the role of Regional Manager for EMEA based in Aberdeen. Crawford will manage the P&L and associated business functions needed to drive operational excellence.  Crawford comes with a solid track record in the oil and gas services sector having held senior positions throughout Europe, West Africa and Asia. 

As part of this reorganization UTEC are pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Youngson to the position of Contracts Manager for EMEA based out of Aberdeen. The consolidation of Contracts and Commercial departments underpins UTEC’s focus on accurate and strategic contract and commercial responsiveness. Paul will continue with his current responsibility at a global level to ensure best practices are applied throughout the organization.
