Roadway Measurement Rodeo Dates Announced

Next up for the second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) is a rodeo to evaluate the ability of mobile data collection vendors to capture data at specified accuracy levels. This rodeo will pre-qualify vendors for bidding on the subsequent data acquisition phase. The rodeo will take place September 14-20 in Fairfax, Va. The registration deadline is August 29.The follow on data acquisition phase requires the services of a commercial vendor to provide accurate mobile data collection of roadway and roadside characteristics and features to support the planned road safety analysis.
