Meridian Associates named Small Business of the Year by Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce

BEVERLY, Mass. – Meridian Associates announced this week it has received a Small Business of the Year award from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Now in its 28th year, the Chamber’s Small Business of the Year awards honor the Top 10 small, high-growth businesses in the Greater Boston region. These for-profit companies have gross revenues of more than $1 million and display strong financial performance, achievement in management, workplace excellence, product innovation, and community and/or social responsibility, according to a press release.

Meridian, which describes itself as a multi-disciplinary planning, civil engineering, land surveying and landscape architecture firm, said its 3D laser scanning and BIM practice is its fastest-growing division, providing clients with 3D laser scanning, dimensional control survey, modeling, analysis and BIM coordination services.

“The Chamber is delighted to honor … and pay tribute to the significant impact that small businesses have on our regional economy,” said Paul Guzzi, president & CEO of the Greater Boston Chamber, in a statement. “This year’s honorees truly represent the entrepreneurial spirit, and focus on excellence and commitment to the community that define our region’s small business community.”

“There are so many great organizations in our area that deserve recognition,” Meridian principal Don Bowen said in a statement. “We appreciate this award.”
