AeroMetric hires Beck as account manager

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – AeroMetric, a full-service geospatial solutions company, has announced the addition of Andrew Beck, PSM, PLS as an account manager. Beck will assist clients directly with project definition, approach, scoping, estimating, and schedule coordination.

Marvin Miller, AeroMetric’s senior vice president for business development said in a press release, “Drew’s extensive background as a professional surveyor and senior manager, as well as his connections with a wide variety of commercial and government entities across the south east United States, adds enormously to AeroMetric’s national presence. Drew brings our clients hands-on survey, photogrammetric and enterprise GIS contract administration experience which will speed scope development and the commencement of well conceived projects.”

Beck is a professional licensed surveyor with licenses in Texas, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina and has more than 30 years experience in land surveying. Prior to joining AeroMetric, he was manager of field engineering services and survey director for Northrop Grumman here in Huntsville, Ala., overseeing contracts providing geospatial data production and analysis, including aerial photography, surveying, topographic maps and enterprise GIS for domestic and international government intelligence, defense and civilian clients. Prior to that, his positions included director of land surveying services for The Schneider Corporation in Nashville, Tenn., and regional manager for Wilson Miller in Destin, Fla. Beck has managed and administrated contracts that utilized a variety of field and photogrammetric surveying techniques, including fixed wing and helicopter platform-based image and lidar acquisition.
