May 6, 2025 - The World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) has announced its Executive Board for 2025-2027, as well as its new president and treasurer.
In a statement, WGIC reported that Zubran Solaiman from Bentley Systems has been elected president and Matthew Pennells of Esri has been elected treasurer for the organization.
Also, WGIC announced new member of its Executive Board:

- NaraSpace – Jae-Pil Park, CEO
- Oracle – Siva Ravada, Vice President
- PlanBlue – Hannah Brock, Co-Founder & CSO
- RIEGL International – James Van Rens, Senior Vice President
- SparkGeo – Will Cadell, Founder & CEO

Announcement of the Boad members came at WGIC’s annual general meeting, held last week in Denver, CO. The Board, WGIC said, “will provide strategic guidance to WGIC in pursuing its mission and achieving its programmatic goals during the next two years.”
