TerraGo Workgroups Brings the Power of GeoPDF® to Small Organizations and Teams

Company launches TerraGo Workgroups to bring GeoPDF collaboration capabilities to ArcGIS® customers with flexible, cost-effective subscriptions that meet their unique requirements.

Washington, D.C. — April 28, 2014 — TerraGo announces the launch of new product suite, TerraGo Workgroups. TerraGo Workgroups bundles TerraGo Publisher® for ArcGIS®, TerraGo Composer® and TerraGo Toolbar® products together so GeoPDF maps and imagery can be easily updated among all members of a workgroup, and then shared with anyone, anywhere.

The idea behind TerraGo Workgroups is simple: enable smaller teams to dramatically increase the value of their ArcGIS investment, by establishing collaboration among a trusted network of users, while enabling open access to the feature-rich maps they produce.

According to David Basil, TerraGo’s Vice President of Products and Services, “TerraGo Workgroups is specifically designed for customers that want to extend the value of their ArcGIS investment with GeoPDF-based workflow among a known universe of users.” Basil further explains, “The beauty is they can still share their maps and imagery with anyone while maintaining data quality within members of the workgroup.”

TerraGo Workgroups supports a closed-loop workflow that provides organizations with greater control over the geospatial intelligence they create and maintain. The ability to manage bi-directional information flow ultimately increases the use of geospatial data and increases the value of the ArcGIS investment while improving data quality, response times and operational efficiency.
