Point Grey announced that they will soon release the first two models of the new, high performance Grasshopper3 GigE PoE camera line. These models feature the 2.3 MP Sony IMX174 Exmor global shutter sensor and the popular 6.0 MP Sony ICX694 EXview HAD CCD II sensor. The Grasshopper3 cameras are ideal for 3D measurement, industrial applications such as factory automation, as well as traffic and surveillance applications.
