FARO and Great Britain's UCL University Sign Scanning Agreement

FARO and UCL have signed an agreement under which the laser scanner systems manufacturer will provide the university with the loan of a 3D laser scanner to be used in large-scale civil engineering and architectural projects together with computer software and training of UCL staff. The initiative will facilitate collaborative projects between the UCL Department of Civil Environmental and Geomatic Engineering and the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture, particularly at Masters level. It is anticipated that the agreement will also lead to the development of commercial projects and research.
