CyArk Awarded Google Grant

The CyArk 3D Heritage Archive was awarded a Google Grant. Designed for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, Google Grants is an in-kind advertising program that provides free Google AdWords advertising to nonprofits in order to help them inform and engage their constituents and build community online. Google says the program “supports organizations sharing our philosophy of community service, and with a strong mission to help the world in areas such as science and technology, education, global public health, the environment, youth advocacy, and the arts.” CyArk, a nonprofit project of the Kacyra Family Foundation, is dedicated to preserving the world’s cultural heritage sites through collecting, archiving, and providing open access to data created by 3D laser scanning, digital modeling and other advanced technologies.
