MANCHESTER, UK – Aveva announced this week that LFM Software will hold its User Meeting – USA 2012 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriot Hotel and Convention Centre, near Houston, Texas, on April 19, directly following SPAR International 2012. LFM, makers of point cloud processing software, was acquired by Aveva in October.
“The LFM User Meeting is a forum for users to learn, feedback and meet,” said Gary Farrow, VP 3D data capture business management, LFM Software, in a statement. “It provides new customers from a range of backgrounds and industries with a valuable opportunity to learn about the innovative new 3D laser scanning solutions that LFM can offer. Participants will gain insight into best practices and learn about advanced new features of LFM, designed to improve efficiency and productivity in the field.”
“In addition,” he added, “a customer feedback session will allow users to share their experiences of LFM laser scanning software and to provide their suggestions for future development. This is also a great opportunity to network with peers and industry leaders from around the globe.”
