SPAR 2013 call for presentations extended

In consideration of Sandy impact, deadline now Nov. 7

PORTLAND, Maine – The organizers of SPAR International 2013, the conference on end-to-end 3D data technology to be held in Colorado Springs April 15-18, have announced they are extending the deadline for the call for presentations one week, to Nov. 7, in consideration of the millions on the eastern seaboard of the United States who continue to be without power and access to the internet due to the huge impact of hurricane Sandy.

Conference programmer Linda McLaughlin said she has already heard from a number of affected companies that indicated their proposals would be forthcoming and she appreciates the difficulties that any number of companies are facing today following the massive storm’s impact. If anyone has any questions about the call for presentations, McLaughlin can be contacted directly by clicking here.

McLaughlin also wanted to reiterate that the conference is looking for presentations that detail real-world problems that are being solved with 3D data capture; new and innovative technology that is moving the industry forward; and presenters who are end users of the data and can outline now just how the data was collected, but why.
