Meridian Acquires Leica HDS6000

Meridian Associates added a Leica HDS6000 to its line of laser scanning equipment. Meridian, Beverly, MA and Cherry Hill, NJ, also owns an HDS4500 and HDS2500, and has agreements that provide it access to a ScanStation 2. Greg Lawes, vice president of 3D laser scanning services, tells us the purchase was a natural because the firm’s “HDS4500 has been a workhorse in the industrial market, and increasingly in civil applications as well. We’re looking forward to the added range and enhanced accuracy of the HDS6000.”
