On Thursday last week, Leica Geosystems and Maptek announced that Leica would OEM Maptek’s long-range I-SiTE 4400 scanner. We understand Leica’s deal with Maptek is similar to the company’s OEM agreement with Z+F for phase-based scanners, i.e. non-exclusive and worldwide. Leica’s Geoff Jacobs tells us that Leica will provide first-line technical support for the I-SiTE scanner.
