Forensic Laser Scanning Workshop Hosted by Z+F, Leica, DelftTech

A forensic laser scanning workshop organized by Zoller+Fröhlich GmbH, Leica Geosystems GmbH and DelftTech BV attracted approximately 40 participants, Z+F tells us, including some 30 end users. The workshop was held in Leipzig May 3-4 in conjunction with the 4th International GPEC (General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference), which reportedly drew more than 6000 attendees. 

Workshop presenters from law enforcement agencies included Rolf Jaeger and Dirk Heisterkamp with Landeskriminalamt Nordrhein-Westfalen, the state police agency for North Rhine-Westphalia, headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, and Ursula Buck from the police agency of the Canton of Bern, Switzerland, according to Z+F.

Academic presenters included Prof. Dr. Rudolf Staiger, Fachhochschule Bochum; Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hansjoerg Kutterer, University of Hannover; and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Niemeier, University of Braunschweig.

Industry presenters included Dr. Christoph Fröhlich, Z+F; Thomas Schock, Leica Geosystems; Willem van Spanje, DelftTech; Dr. Marcus Weiss, SpheronVR AG; and Dipl.-Ing. Markus Schaefer, inmetris3D Partnergesellschaft.
