Ambitech Adds AVEVA Laser Model Interface

Ambitech, a long-time AVEVA PDMS user, has added AVEVA Laser Model Interface to its project execution portfolio. AVEVA Laser Model Interface combines AVEVA PDMS and AVEVA Outfitting design environments with advanced third-party laser modeling systems. The integration is expected to eliminate wasteful and error-prone intermediate remodelling allowing overall design time to be reduced by up to 10 percent; provide as-built model data for retrofits and upgrades of existing plants and marine conversions; and allow integration of as-built data with design and asset management solutions for reduced site risks, improved project speed (site survey times can typically be halved), and highly accurate design data for less rework and decreased cost and downtime.
