3D Systems acquires Alibre

Adds design software to 3D print solutions

ROCK HILL, S.C. – 3D Systems, a provider of 3D content-to-print solutions, announced today that it acquired Alibre, Inc., a maker of affordable 3D design productivity solutions. Alibre brings a suite of full parametric CAD solutions that are designed to be easy to own and simple to use for makers and designers alike. Based in Richardson, Texas, Alibre serves tens of thousands of businesses and individuals in over 50 countries, according to a press release.
