Point clouds and music videos seem to go together like peas and carrots. As Timothy Crammond of Laser Scanning America explained in his post on the Laser Scanning Forum, “last winter I helped a band in Pittsburgh create some visual content for a music video. Its a mishmash of scan data, video footage and I think some Adobe Premier magic (I didn’t edit the final cut). Best part for me was getting to capture data in the sort of post-industrial wasteland that’s fairly common in the city.”
For a beautiful, if bleak, view of Pittsburgh and a lovely tune, you’d be hard pressed to do better. (Thanks Tim.)
