Photogrammetry Music

Funky3D

I get it. It’s the middle of summer in the northern hemisphere and it’s probably hot where you live. If you’re in the US, you just got off of a three-day weekend and you’re probably not super pumped about being back at work. I won’t burden you with anything too complicated.

So, here’s a video for the track “Dyschronometria” by electronic artist Cumhur Jay.

The director, Akihiko Taniguchi, generated 3D models using photogrammetry. Next, he animated them with motion-capture techniques, and then dropped them into some cool looking Unity environments.

The result: A funky video of a dude cutting it up in beautiful natural settings. Perfect for the dog days of summer. Stay through to the end–it gets pretty psychedelic.
